2006-2007

As a young single woman living in Copenhagen I played a little with acrylic. Not many years later, living with husband and kids on the contry side of the danish island Bornholm, I worked for some years as a freelance autor and illustrater of children books. From 2002 to 2006 I studied to be a school teacher, and during that periode I started painting with oil on canvas. My first oil painting was “The Fox”, a potrait of a good and very patient friend, the artist Kirsten Hurtigkarl, who was my model a half winther and tought me all about how to work with oil paint.

2007-2008

After living with my husband for 18 years, we got devorced in the springtime 2007. I got my owl small house in Rønne – the capital of Bornholm -, and there was a garage, that I changed into a painting studio. It was a tough periode of my life, and from my dark blue mind came a lot of quite heavy paintings.

2009-2014

After I started in therapy, my artistical expressions became less dramatic … (more is coming)
